Over years, ISAC has planned and executed several satellite missions of ISRO. Having successfully developed and deployed state-of-art operational satellites for Communication, Meteorology and Remote Sensing, the centre is poised to leapfrog into the next century with advanced versions of satellites like Microwave Remote Sensing satellites, Direct Broadcasting Satellites, Interplanetary probes, Scientific Missions etc. Indigenous development of various advanced and critical technologies in the Satellite development activities are very essential to be in the lead in the field. The Space programme in our Country is focused on to provide highly reliable operational services for socio-economic development of the country.
