KOCHI REFINERIES LIMITED (A Subsidiary of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd) Requires MANAGEMENT TRAINEES
Chemical - 12 Posts (6 unreserved , 2 OBC ,3 SC and 1 ST)
Mechanical - 5 Posts (2 Unreserved , 2 OBC and 1 SC)
Electrical - 4 Posts (3 Unreserved ,and 1 OBC )
Instrumentation - 1 Post (Unreserved )

Qualification : First class Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation disciplines
Age Limit : Not exceeding 25 years as on 01 .10 . 2005

Training, emoluments and placement : Selected candidates will undergo on the job training for one year. During the training period, they will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs.20000/p.m. On successful completion of training and if found suitable by the Management, the trainees will be considered for placement in the Management cadre in pay scale of Rs.12000 -17500 on a starting basic pay of Rs.12000/- with total emoluments of Rs.23300 - (approx ) and other benefits as per Company rules. Management trainees are required to execute service agreement to complete the training and remain in the service of the company for 5 years from the date of absorption in regular rolls.

General Information and Conditions :
1) Persons employed with Government or Semi government Organisations /Public Sector Undertakings should submit their application through proper channel.
2) Age and experience are relaxable at the discretion of the Management in case of exceptional candidates as well as in case sufficient candidates meeting the above requirements are not available.
3) Option to answer questions in Hindi is also available in interview /written test
4) Application with incomplete information and / or not accompanied with true copies of all certificates /mark-lists/testimonials (1to 8 semesters of Engineering Degree mark -lists compulsory ) regarding age, qualification, experience (nature of experience should be specified )and caste/ community are liable to be rejected.
5) To and fro 1 class train /travel expenses. Candidates will be reimbursed for attending interview as per rules.
6) Candidates desiring to be considered against the quota reserved for OBC should have in their possession a certificate dated on or after October 25, 2005 from the Tahsildar or other competent authority approved by the Govt of India ( Ref .W.R.NO.12011/68/93/BCC (c) dated 10th September 1993) certifying that they do not belong to the "creamy layer" of the OBC community.
7) The job involves working on Management Trainees.
8) Final year students and those awaiting results are not eligible to apply for the post of Management Trainees.
9) Everything else being equal, preference will be given to KRL project evictees.

Relaxation /concessions for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against reserved post : SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved posts should meet the requirement prescribed for general category candidates. For SC/ST candidates applying for reserved post, age is relaxable by 5 years and first class in qualification is stipulated, the requirement would be relaxed to pass class. In the case of OBC candidates, age alone will be relaxed by three years. Relaxation /concessions for KRL employees and dependants of KRL employees died in harness will be as per company rules.

Right to restrict candidates : The Management reserves the right to call for test/interview only those who is in option, are likely to be suitable. Management may at its discretion, raise/relax the eligibility standard to restrict the number of candidates or to make available sufficient number of candidates to be called for written test/interview.
The Management reserves the right to fill or not to fill all or any of the above position without assigning any reason whatsoever.
