Intel's Information Services and Technology Group (ISTG) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, Backup and Restore, and Enterprise Applications. ISTG is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
Job Description:
In this position, you will be designing and developing solutions in ETL space, trouble shooting, problem analysis and resolution coding, testing and implementation of complex ETL processes in Oracle environments. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements, working with data modelers, BA's and front end/back end developers and experience in root cause analysis to ensure problems are properly resolved.
Others Job Description: Develops, implements, and maintains computer-based systems to meet business requirements. Application Developers analyze, design, construct, train, and implement application systems. Activities include documenting decisions, adhering to standards and communicating with business groups. Other responsibilities may include providing standards/guidelines for development, responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur, and developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems with more than six years of SQL experience.
Additional qualifications include:
- Experience in working with large databases with experience of at least four to six years on Oracle PL/SQL (database design, creation of database, writing stored procedures, SQL query optimization and tuning, experience in code reviews and exposure to Capability Maturity Model Integration [CMMI])
- Oracle ET&L developer and/or programmer with strong Oracle and/or UNIX skills and advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Extensive oracle knowledge centering on basic SQL and Stored Procedures with knowledge of Data Warehousing
- Clear understanding of database optimization and performance tuning, SQL query and/or stored procedure optimization
- Clear understanding of relational and dimensional modeling, broad understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies, strong communication skills, Indexing, and strong Data Quality skills
- Ability to work cross-site and/or cross-culture and work horizontally supporting multiple projects
- Must be self-motivated and self-directed, ensure timely completion of deliverables and production support issues, and collaborate with partners and stakeholders
